Site Safety Coordinators

Responsibilities:

Implement and enforce site specific safety policy, hazard control and analysis. Coordination of daily safety activities with Project Superintendent and client representatives. Oversee that all subcontractors are complying with site safety rules . Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, by performing site safety inspections and reporting findings, recommend, schedule and give trainings and safety meetings as necessary. Interface with jobsite supervisory personnel to develop response to deficiencies and appropriate time frames.  Conduct accident investigations. Maintain daily logs and reports. Serve as liason between field crews, site management and regulatory Agencies. Attend contractor meetings. Manage injury reports and provide CPR/First Aid as needed.

Relevant Experience:

We seek candidates with at least 3 or more years experience in heavy construction site safety. Must have experience and knowledge of general health & safety issues related to construction projects. Knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction & 1910 General regulations, and ability to learn and grow with the position. Must be able to work with all levels of employees and have good presentation/training skills.

OSHA 500 Trainer certification, First Aid/CPR or EMT experience. Computer oriented. CSP a plus. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
