New Safety Requirements For Nevada Construction Workers
June 2009, Assembly Bill No. 148 was passed. What does this means for Nevada construction workers.
The new bill requires that all construction workers and supervisors undergo a OSHA 10 hour & 30 hour training program.
Begining January 1, 2010 AB-148 will require:
All Nevada construction workers to undergo an OSHA 10 hour training course, approved by OSHA at least
every 5 years.
All supervisors on construction sites also must undergo an OSHA 30 hour training course, approved by OSHA
every 5 years.
